Corbett is densely populated with flora which is inclusive of sal, Rohini, haldu, papal, and mango trees. These trees cover over 73 percent of the park. The prevailing 10 percent of the area is fields. The park has over 110 tree species, 50 varieties of mammals, 580 bird kinds, and 25 reptile species.

It is a great advantage to the visitors of Corbett National Park is that the park is open 365 days a year. But the ideal time to enjoy jeep safari is from mid of November to the end of June. Bijrani and Dhikala zone is closed during monsoon season as most of the roads get wiped away due to rain.
