Arrival at Joshimath
Upon arrival at Joshimath in the dusk meet our trekking crew. Check-in Homestay / Hotel in Joshimath. Leftover evening you are free to rest and acclimatize. Joshimath is a small town and visitor hub in Garhwal Himalayas. This site is very popular for the Shankracharya temple.
Joshimath - Auli - Gorson Bugyal - Tali Jungle Camp
After breakfast drive up to Auli then we begin our trek from Auli to popular Gorson Bugyal known for its skiing slopes in the wintertime. The majestic peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas will uncover one by one of this day. You will also get to see the most eminent peak of India that lies solely within Indian boundary – Nanda Devi. There's also a pretty Tali Lake en route, the area encompassing Tali Tal thrives with the grazing field for Himalayan sheep and cattle. Dinner and overnight stay in shelters.
Tali Jungle Camp – Kuari Pass – Khullara Top
This is a long day with diverse terrain that passes through steep hills & high elevation fields with uninterrupted scenes of tremendous peas of Garhwal Himalayas. Kuari Pass is famous for being a part of Lord Curzon's Trail which starts up to the other side of the valley that leads to Trisul, Nanda Kot and other fabulous peaks around the Roopkund region. Trek back to Khullara Top after spending some good time at the pass. Khullar Top is a beautiful campsite facing Dronagiri, Changabang, Kamet, and many other Himalayan peaks.
Khullara Top – Joshimath
After breakfast, we start ascending down to base camp. It is a 12 km downhill trek on the way we get to see beautiful springs, Himalayan villages, cultivation fields. At Tapovan our separate vehicle will await our arrival to drive us back to Joshimath.
